Terms of Service
The Crown's Collection
Effective date: August 24, 2026
Last updated: August 24, 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and The Crown's Collection. They apply when you browse this website, submit a form, or buy, sell, trade, or source a watch with us. By using the site or transacting with us, you accept them.
We have written them in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it before you commit to anything.
2. Who we are
The Crown's Collection is operated by The Crown’s Collection, LLC, a limited liability company organized in Louisiana. We are an independent private-client dealer in luxury timepieces, based in Dallas, Texas and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
We are not an authorized dealer for any watch brand. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Breitling, Richard Mille, or any other manufacturer. All brand names and trademarks belong to their owners, and we use them only to describe the watches we sell.
3. Using this website
You may browse the site and use our forms for genuine inquiries. You may not scrape it, copy our photographs or listing text for your own commercial use, submit false information, or use the site to break the law.
Our listing photographs and descriptions are our own work. Please do not reuse them without asking.
You must be at least 18 to transact with us.
4. Inventory, prices, and availability
Every watch we list is a single physical item. Inventory moves quickly, and a piece shown as available may sell before your inquiry reaches us.
Prices on the site are in U.S. dollars and can change without notice. Listings are an invitation to inquire, not a binding offer. A sale is final only when we confirm it to you in writing and payment clears. If a listing contains an obvious pricing or description error, we may correct it or cancel the order and refund you in full.
We describe condition honestly and photograph each watch as it is. Screens vary, so colors and finish may look slightly different in person. Ask us for more photos or a video before you buy—we would rather answer twenty questions than have you disappointed.
5. Buying a watch
Reserving a piece. We can hold a watch for you with a deposit of 10% of the purchase price. Deposits are generally non-refundable, unless we agree otherwise in writing or a refund is required by law.
Payment. We accept bank wire, Zelle, and cash for local transactions. Payment is due in full before a watch ships or is hand-delivered. We will send written wire instructions directly from our own email address. We will never change our wire instructions by email mid-transaction. If you receive a message that appears to do so, stop and call us at 225-270-0025 to confirm before sending any funds.
Sales tax. We collect sales tax where the law requires it, based on where the watch is delivered.
Identity verification. For higher-value transactions we may ask for government-issued photo identification before completing a sale. This protects both of us. How we handle that information is covered in our Privacy Policy.
Our right to decline. We may decline or cancel any transaction—for example, where we cannot verify identity, where payment is flagged, or where we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we refund you in full.
6. Authenticity guarantee
Every watch we sell is guaranteed authentic.
If an independent, brand-authorized service center determines that a watch we sold you is not authentic, return it to us in the same condition and we will refund the full purchase price plus the original shipping charges you paid. This guarantee has no time limit and is the core promise of our business.
To make a claim, email us with the written finding from the service center. We cover return shipping on any authenticity claim.
7. Condition and warranty
Watches are pre-owned unless the listing says otherwise, and are sold in the condition described and photographed.
Unless we expressly state otherwise in writing, watches are sold as-is with no service warranty. If we service a watch before the sale and state that coverage in the listing, invoice, or written sale confirmation, the watch includes a 12-month service warranty on the movement, beginning on the date of delivery. During that period, we will cover repair of a mechanical failure of the movement that is not caused by damage, water exposure, unauthorized service, or normal wear.
The authenticity guarantee in Section 6 applies whether or not a watch includes a service warranty.
Manufacturer warranties do not automatically transfer to a second owner. Where original papers exist, we pass them along, but we cannot promise a brand will honor them.
Straps, batteries, crystals, and cosmetic wear are not covered. Water resistance on any pre-owned watch is not guaranteed unless it has been pressure-tested and we say so in writing.
8. Shipping and delivery
We ship overnight, fully insured, through a carrier we select. Shipping is paid by the buyer.
A signature is required on delivery. We cannot authorize a carrier to leave a package unattended, and we will not release a watch to an address we cannot verify.
Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier confirms delivery to your address. Until then, the watch is insured by us.
International shipping is available. You are responsible for all duties, taxes, customs charges, brokerage fees, and for confirming that the item may lawfully be imported into the destination country.
Hand-delivery and private viewings are available in the Dallas and Baton Rouge metro areas by arrangement.
9. Returns
All sales are final. We do not offer a general buyer return window, and no restocking fee applies because discretionary returns are not accepted.
This Section does not limit the authenticity guarantee in Section 6, any express service warranty provided under Section 7, or any rights that cannot legally be waived.
Special orders and watches obtained through a sourcing request are final sale once you approve the purchase, because we acquire them specifically for you.
10. Selling or trading your watch to us
When you submit a watch to us, you confirm that:
you own it outright and have the legal right to sell it;
it is not stolen and is not subject to any lien, loan, or claim by anyone else;
it has not been reported lost or stolen to a manufacturer, insurer, or law enforcement; and
the information and photographs you gave us are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Our offer. Any offer we make is based on the information you provide and is subject to physical inspection. It is valid for 10 days. If the watch differs from your description on inspection, we may revise the offer or return the watch to you at our cost.
Verification. We record serial numbers and check them against theft and loss databases. We verify seller identity. If a watch turns out to be stolen, we will cooperate fully with law enforcement and the rightful owner, and we will not return it to you.
Payment. We pay on the day we agree terms after inspection, by wire, Zelle, or cash for local transactions.
Shipping to us. Insure any watch you send us for its full value. Until it arrives and we confirm receipt, it is at your risk.
11. Sourcing requests
A sourcing request is a search, not a purchase. Submitting one costs you nothing and commits you to nothing.
No deposit is required to begin a search. If we locate a watch you approve, we will provide the total purchase price and all transaction terms in writing before you commit.
We cannot promise we will find a specific reference or find it at a specific price. Timelines are estimates. When we locate a candidate, we present it with pricing and authentication information, and you decide freely whether to proceed.
Watches acquired through sourcing are final sale once you approve the purchase.
12. Your responsibilities
You agree to give us accurate information, to send funds only to instructions you have confirmed by phone, and not to use our services to launder money, sell property you do not own, or evade tax.
If you break these terms and it costs us money—for example, if you sell us a watch you did not own—you agree to cover the resulting losses, including reasonable legal fees.
13. Limits on our liability
We stand behind what we sell. But to the fullest extent the law allows:
our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the watch the claim concerns;
we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost investment value, or a change in a watch's market value after purchase; and
nothing we say about a watch's rarity, desirability, or likely future value is investment advice. Watch prices go down as well as up.
Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud or for anything the law does not permit us to limit. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
14. Disputes
Governing law. These terms and every transaction with The Crown's Collection are governed by the laws of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Required notice. Before starting any formal proceeding against The Crown's Collection, you must send written notice describing the claim in reasonable detail and allow us 30 days to resolve it informally.
Exclusive venue. Any claim you bring against The Crown's Collection must be filed exclusively in the state courts located in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, or the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. You irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection based on venue or inconvenient forum. The Crown's Collection may bring a claim, pursue collection, or seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court with jurisdiction.
Individual claims and jury waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought only on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. You and The Crown's Collection waive the right to a jury trial.
Enforcement costs. If The Crown's Collection incurs costs to enforce these terms because of your breach, nonpayment, fraud, or misrepresentation, you agree to reimburse its reasonable attorneys' fees, court costs, collection costs, and other enforcement expenses to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Non-waivable rights. Nothing in this section limits any right or remedy that applicable law does not allow the parties to waive.
15. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a term on one occasion does not waive it. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any written confirmation of a specific transaction, are the whole agreement between us—a written transaction confirmation controls if it conflicts with anything here.
We may update these terms as our business changes. The "Last updated" date above will always show the current version. The terms in effect on the date of your transaction are the ones that govern it.
